I am thinking that 30 minutes a day should be great.
My brother Grange was not a musician and yet he sat with his children and created amazing instruments and music. He actually created a music video on Youtube! It blew me away to hear it. My brother Grange never got my mother's sense of rhythm. She was always one of those who danced to back-beat. It was amusing because she would tell us, " Come-on!! Get up!! Let's danCe!!" It was hard to say no when she was up. You grabbed your joy when you could yaknow? So, up we would go, jammin' out to The Temptations or Smokey and The Miracles. Then, she would look at my brother Grange. Mind you, she was off-beat but it didn't matter.
"You have 2 left feet! Can't you HEAR the music?? What is WRONG with you?" So, that moment, I would grab my brother's hands and have him twirl and dance with me. As I would twirl, I would look at my mom and laugh at her and stick out my tongue and say..." PHHHTTTTT!! See?? He can dance! He just doesn't like to dance alone!!"
He never liked to dance alone.
Go..do something wonderful for your family today.
Better yet, do something nice for you by giving something back to those who love YOU and give to YOU and stand up for YOU.
Sometimes they need to hear more than a thank you.
Grab your joy!
